On the afternoon of June 5, Lenovo held a press conference at the Beijing China Film Director’s Center to formally release the new national flagship in face of the Lenovo Z5. It adopts the popular bangs screen design, a double-sided glass body, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chip, a 16MP dual-camera, and many more. We are offering to take a quick look at the overall appearance and the key features of the new national flagship.
The Lenovo Z5 uses a 6.2-inch 19:9 ratio full-screen, with a 1080P + resolution, 90% of screen ratio, DCI-P3 wide color gamut performance support, and 700 nit brightness. The screen material is LCD.
On the processor side, the Lenovo Z5 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chip paired with a 6GB of large memory and 64GB and 128GB storage options.
There is a rear-mounted 16MP + 8MP dual camera, with an aperture of f/2.0, an AI full-time double camera support, using the Ture3D virtual engine, a depth of field blur support to ensure natural shooting results. The Lenovo Z5’s front camera comes with an 8MP resolution. Lenovo Z5 battery capacity is 3300mAh.
The phone runs on ZUI 3.9 based on Android 8.1. It uses an AI game acceleration engine, CPU acceleration, GPU acceleration, memory acceleration, intelligent do-not-disturbing, and many improvements.
For color matching, Lenovo Z5 has three color combinations of Schumann Black, Card Indigo, and Aurora Color. In terms of price, Lenovo’s Z5 Black Edition with a 6GB+64GB combination is available for ￥1299, while the 6GB+128GB version costs ￥1799.
